Through hosting her own vendor markets as well as building countless local partnerships, she has built a community of business owners, small shop advocates, parents and community members that continue to show up & support local.  

Founder & C.E.O. of Market Candle Company, Shabi has grown her business and customer base over the course of 4 years from her home to over 100 retailers across Canada, a production facility and storefront, a loyal customer base and more importantly a community of like minded and passionate individuals.

Advocating and fundraising for causes such as the Canadian Mental Health association as well as Fertility Matters Canada are an important part of her business model but she is also keen on keeping things light with a heavy daily dose of laughter and sarcasm. 

Founder of Small + Social Co., Katie brings over a decade of experience in event planning, social media marketing and communications.

 

She has a passion for helping creative small business owners leverage their brands through the power of digital marketing - including social media, branding, graphic design and photography.
